Current Joventut Badalona guard and long-time EuroLeague and Spanish national team player Pau Ribas has announced that he will retire at the end of this season.
The 38-year-old veteran has enjoyed a long and successful career, spending his entire professional journey in Spain.
Ribas began his professional career with Joventut Badalona in 2005 before moving on to clubs such as Baskonia, Valencia, and Barcelona. He returned to his roots in Badalona in 2020 and will now retire there after a remarkable 20-year career.
Throughout his career, he has earned numerous accolades both at the club level and with the national team.
He is a two-time EuroCup winner with Joventut and Valencia, won the Spanish ACB League in 2010, and captured gold medals with Spain at EuroBasket 2015 and the 2019 FIBA World Cup.
