This marks Monaco's second Final Four appearance, and this year, they have a real chance to make history as they compete in the EuroLeague final for the club’s first-ever title.

Two of the team’s now long-time players, Mike James and Alpha Diallo, have been instrumental in Monaco’s run to the final this season.

However, the third member of the trio that’s been there since the beginning, Donatas Motiejunas, has fallen out of the rotation. He now watches from the sidelines as his team chases history.

"I think I’ve gotten everything I possibly could from this place," Donatas Motiejunas openly shared in a conversation with Lukas Malinauskas from BasketNews.lt in Abu Dhabi after the team’s historic EuroLeague final berth with a 78-68 win over Olympiacos Piraeus.
