Monaco Basket shocked the European basketball beating Olympiacos Piraeus.

Evan Fournier was visibly upset after the match, as his insane 31 point performance was not enough to overcome the opponents.

Vassilis Spanoulis approached him right after the game and tried to console him.

In today's press conference before the Championship game, Spanoulis was asked to reveal what did he say to Fournier after the buzzer:

"We played basketball for many years and been through big games, I knew how he felt. I wanted to put myself in his position and give him an advice or two, like a human being, not like a coach," Spanoulis started.

"I will do that with everybody, especially with Evan who's such a great player and a great person. But life moves on, it's not only wins in life, you lose more than you win so you have to keep working and stay on your feet."
