One NBA legend, however, revealed that he came surprisingly close to such an encounter. One of the greatest players of all time, Shaquille O'Neal, recently shared a story about how a gorilla once tried to fight him at a Miami zoo.
"Every zoo I went to, the gorilla tried to fight me," Shaq said on the Big Podcast. "It started at the zoo in Miami."
"The staff would always take me in the back and be like, 'Don’t look at the gorilla.' But I looked at one gorilla," Shaq remembered. "He came up to the wall and locked eyes with me. He was looking at me, I was looking at him, and I was like, 'What the f*ck you looking at?' And then he just went crazy."
