BasketNews Plus (BN+) content subscription terms

1. Paid content object
1.1 Paid BasketNews content is marked with BasketNews Plus (or BN+) sign.
1.2. BN+ content is available on the website www.basketnews.com. It contains but is not limited to video, audio, text and other content.
2. Subscription order
2.1 You can subscribe to BN+ content only on the website www.basketnews.com.
2.2 To become a subscriber, you must have a BasketNews account and be logged in.
2.3 When creating an account, it is necessary to specify a valid e-mail address, or connect via social networks Facebook, Google.
2.4 BN+ subscription is ordered for a minimum period of one month.
2.5 Paid content subscription is continuous, a specific paid content subscription period is ordered.
2.6 The subscription is automatically paid and renewed after the end of the subscription period (if a 1-month service is ordered – after one month, on the same day; if a 1-year service is ordered – after one year, on the same day).
2.7 Subscription prices are indicated on the website www.basketnews.com and cannot be changed until the paid subscription ends.
2.7 If the subscriber needs an invoice, it is issued after specifying the props and sent to the subscriber's e-mail by the 10th day of each month.
3. Payment for subscription
3.1 You can pay for the subscription by bank card, agreeing that payments will be made periodically every 1 month or 1 year, if not terminated earlier.
3.2 BasketNews does not store any bank card details other than the last 4 digits of the card number and the expiry date.
4. Termination of subscription
4.1 BN+ subscriber has the right to cancel the service at any time by noting it in the BasketNews account.
4.2 After unsubscribing, paid content will be available until the subscription period expires. If the monthly subscription was ordered on March 15, 2022, and terminated any day between March 15, 2022, and April 15, 2022, it will be valid until April 15, 2022. If the annual subscription was ordered on March 15, 2022, and terminated any day between March 15, 2022, and March 15, 2023, it will be valid until March 15, 2023.
5. Refund
5.1 Money for paid content services is refunded only in cases where this is reported no more than 3 days after acquiring the service. BasketNews is not responsible if the service was unavailable due to the fault of the user's internet provider or end device. BasketNews also does not issue refunds if the subscriber feels that the content is not relevant or of sufficient quality.
5.2 Money for paid content services can be returned based on a written request, which BasketNews examines and makes a decision on its validity within 3-5 days. The complaint can be submitted by e-mail [email protected].
5.3 The money is returned to the bank account specified in writing by the subscriber.
6. Direct marketing and processing of personal data
6.1 Subscriber's provided e-mail address, phone number, and name may be used for direct marketing purposes in delivering only BN+ paid content or other BasketNews services, promotions, or special offers. At any time, the subscriber can express his disapproval of receiving such information by turning off the selected consents in his profile, by contacting via e-mail at [email protected], or by phone at +370 676 33704.
6.2 The subscriber has the right to familiarize themself with his personal data, disagree with their processing for direct marketing purposes, without indicating the motives for the disagreement, as well as to request in writing the correction of incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate personal data.
6.3 Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Text with EEA relevance) and the Republic of Lithuania Law on the legal protection of personal data.
7. Content ownership
7.1 All BN+ content belongs to UAB Basketnews, which manages the basketnews.com brand. No intellectual property rights in the BN+ content are transferred to the BN+ subscriber, and the subscriber cannot copy and distribute the BN+ content.
8. Information
8.1 All information about BN+ services is provided by e-mail [email protected].
8.2 All information about changes to the BN+ service is sent to subscribers at the email specified in their account.
