Vanja Marinkovic, Isiaha Mike, Mitar Bosnjakovic, Arijan Lakic, and Aleksa Dimitrijevic will not play in the annual Pavlos Giannakopoulos Tournament in Athens, Greece, this week.
Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens will play a game against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade in a historic stadium as part of the Pavlos Giannakopoulos annual basketball tournament. The Serbian team will arrive without five players.
Vanja Marinkovic, Isiaha Mike, Arijan Lakic, Aleksa Dimtrijevic, and Mitar Bosnjakovic remained in Belgrade, Partizan announced.
The two teams will meet on Saturday, September 21st, in Panathenaic Stadium, known locally as Kallimarmaro, a venue that hosted the first modern Olympics in 1896.
The day before, Partizan will play against Anadolu Efes Istanbul at 3 PM local time. The match will be played behind closed doors.
Partizan's first official game of the new 2024-25 season will come against Borac Mozzart Cacak in the ABA League on Wednesday, September 25th.
