In an official club statement, Real already confirmed that Sergio Scariolo will be the new head coach of the team.
Scariolo agreed on a three-year deal with Real.
Italian returns to Real after 23 years, as he coached the Spanish champions from 1999 to 2002, winning one Spanish League and one Spanish Cup.
