Dzanan Musa has confirmed that he played his final game with Real Madrid after winning the ACB title on Wednesday, as he will be leaving the club and is expected to join Dubai Basketball on a long-term deal, according to multiple reports.
Dzanan Musa’s three-year stint with Real Madrid has come to an end, as the player announced that he had played his final game for the club after winning the Spanish League title on Wednesday.
"I'm emotional, really. Happy one moment, sad the next. I don’t know — Real Madrid is my family, and this was my last game with Real Madrid," Musa said, confirming the decision that had been rumored in recent weeks via Colgados del Aro.
Musa confirmed that the decision was already made, as both he and the club were unable to reach an agreement on a new deal.
"Yes, this was already known. It’s final," Musa stated. "I really wanted to be here for many years. But we didn’t have a good relationship when it came to negotiating this contract, and I’m very sad. But honestly, I’ll be a Madridista forever."

During his three years with Real Madrid, Musa won a EuroLeague title, two Liga Endesa championships, one Copa del Rey, and two Supercopa Endesa trophies.
This season, he averaged 12.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 2 assists per game in the EuroLeague, shooting 53.9% from inside the arc and 37.2% from three-point range.
Now, according to multiple reports, Musa is expected to join Dubai Basketball on a long-term deal, where he is set to begin a new chapter as the face of the franchise on the EuroLeague stage.
