Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James will be entering his 23rd NBA season next year, and it appears we may be witnessing the final chapter of his legendary career—though he's still performing at an elite level.

At 40 years old, James continues to defy father time, but during a recent appearance on The Shop Live show, he hinted at what might finally push him into retirement.

"I can't play that much further," LeBron said. "But as long as Wemby keeps smacking my f***ing shots into the stands, it’s gonna make me retire."

Despite his age, LeBron remained one of the most dominant forces in the league this season, averaging 24.4 points, 8.2 assists, and 7.8 rebounds per game.

On the other side of the generational spectrum, Victor Wembanyama is set to enter his third NBA season after a blood clot diagnosis prematurely ended his sophomore campaign.

Even though he appeared in only 46 games, Wembanyama still led the league in total blocks with 176—an astonishing average of 3.8 per game. He also contributed 24.3 points and 11.0 rebounds per outing, solidifying his place as one of the league's brightest young stars.
