After failing to repeat their EuroLeague success and losing the Greek League finals, Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens will almost certainly do everything possible to strengthen coach Ergin Ataman's roster for next season.

The Greek club has already reached an agreement with TJ Shorts, probably the most sought-after player on the market. Shorts had a stellar debut season with Paris Basketball.

TJ will sign a two-year contract worth a total of around €5 million, and the agreement with Shorts has been confirmed by Ataman himself.

Shorts' arrival also indicates that PAO will almost certainly part ways with Lorenzo Brown.

The experienced point guard with a Spanish passport arrived on a multi-year contract last summer but struggled to establish himself in Ataman's rotation.

The player himself stated during the Final Four in Abu Dhabi that he never really understood his role within the team.

Despite a contract signed until 2027, Brown will leave Panathinaikos in the summer and will have to find a new home.

Brown wants to feel important again and believes he can be a key player in the right environment.

But where could be the ideal destination for the 34-year-old veteran? In what situation could he return to show off all his talent?

We have tried to put together a list of teams that could be right for Brown.

Let's take a look.

Crvena Zvezda

Zvezda needs to strengthen their backcourt, and an experienced addition like Lorenzo Brown could be just what the Serbian team needs.

The player himself stated during the season that he would like to return to Belgrade, where he already played for Crvena Zvezda in the 2019-20 season before moving to Fenerbahce.
