According to Shams Charania, Lonnie Walker IV agreed on a two-year $3 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.
Zalgiris Kaunas star guard Lonnie Walker IV has agreed on a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Walker exercised his NBA-out clause in his contract with Zalgiris to make the move possible.
Charania states that Walker signed a two-year deal worth $3 million dollars.
The original contract Walker signed with Zalgiris contained a Feb. 18 escape clause to return to the NBA. He signed that deal on October 30, 2024.
According to Marc Stein, after planning to stay in Lithuania until the summer before finding his next NBA team, Walker got an 11th-hour call today from Philadelphia to hurry back.

In his Zalgiris stint, Walker played 19 EuroLeague games, averaging 13.6 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 11.3 PIR and shooting 45.2% from the two-point zone and 33.1% from deep.
The 26-year-old guard now enters his 7th NBA season after his time with the San Antonio Spurs, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Brooklyn Nets, averaging 9.8 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 20.3 minutes per game over 322 appearances in his career.
Walker won the Lithuanian Cup -- his first professional trophy -- with Zalgiris on Sunday.
Philadelphia, meanwhile, struggles with injuries this season and currently ranks 11th in the Eastern Conference with a 20-34 record.
