Orlando Magic have contacted the Chicago Bulls about acquiring Coby White, who is averaging 18.5 points per game this season.
The Orlando Magic have reportedly reached out to the Chicago Bulls regarding the availability of guard Coby White, according to Ian Begley of SNY.
"Orlando was among a group of teams talking to Chicago about Coby White earlier this week," Begley reported.
With the Magic dealing with injuries throughout much of the season, acquiring White could provide much-needed depth in the backcourt rotation.
White, 24, has performed well for the Bulls this season, averaging 18.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.6 assists over 45 starts. Now in his sixth season with Chicago, he was selected 7th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft.
As the leader of a guard-heavy roster, White's future with the Bulls appears uncertain, especially with the team looking to rebuild after trading Zach LaVine and expressing interest in moving Nikola Vucevic ahead of the trade deadline.
