Harrison, 30, most recently played official NBA games for the Memphis Grizzlies this past season, averaging 0.7 points over three appearances.

In addition to his NBA stint, Harrison spent time in the NBA G League with the South Bay Lakers, the Los Angeles Lakers' affiliate.

He was named the 2023-24 NBA G League Defensive Player of the Year, making him one of only four players to win this award multiple times in league history, having also won it in the 2021-22 season.

In 34 regular-season games (31 starts) for South Bay last season, Harrison averaged a league-leading 2.9 steals to go along with 15.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6.5 assists in 34.1 minutes.

He recorded five or more steals in eight games, the highest in the league, and his career-high of eight steals in a single game against the Rip City Remix on February 2 tied the season's best.

Overall, Harrison has accumulated experience in 183 regular-season NBA games (23 starts) over six seasons with various teams, including the Phoenix Suns (2018), Chicago Bulls (2018-20), Utah Jazz (2020-21), Denver Nuggets (2021), Brooklyn Nets (2021), Portland Trail Blazers (2023), and Memphis Grizzlies (2023).

His NBA career averages include 5.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 15.2 minutes.

Harrison went undrafted in the 2016 NBA Draft following a four-year college career at the University of Tulsa.

Despite his extensive U.S. experience, this move to Villeurbanne marks his first professional stint overseas.
