Vassilis Spanoulis is set to take over the Greek Basket League club Peristeri, according to SDNA.gr.

Following his first-ever coaching experience in the 2022 Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation Tournament, the retired EuroLeague legend will have his first professional job in the coaching department.
Peristeri has been participating in the Basketball Champions League over the last three years, with rather underwhelming results.
Last year, they didn't even make the regular season despite hosting the qualifying group in their own gym. The Greek team was eliminated by eventual quarter-finalists and BCL sensation Cluj from Romania.
In the Greek playoffs, Peristeri entered from the eighth place of the regular season and stood no chance against Olympiacos Piraeus in the first round.
The 39-year-old Spanoulis has had some talks with Promitheas Patras as well, but he seems to prefer to stay in Athens to be close to his family.
