Furkan Korkmaz, a seven-year NBA veteran, has become a free agent after an injury-hit EuroLeague stint in Monaco and a productive run in Turkey's domestic league with Bahcesehir.
Former NBA wing Furkan Korkmaz is officially parting ways with Bahcesehir College Istanbul, the Turkish EuroCup club he joined midseason after starting the 2024–25 campaign with AS Monaco in the EuroLeague.
Injuries hampered Korkmaz's time in Monaco, limiting him to just three EuroLeague appearances.
In those games—against EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, Anadolu Efes Istanbul, and Real Madrid—the 27-year-old averaged 4.7 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 5.3 PIR in under 12 minutes per contest.
After returning to his home country of Turkiye, Korkmaz logged 10 EuroCup games with Bahcesehir, averaging 6.9 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 4.1 PIR.
He was more productive in the Turkish League, where he put up 13.2 points and 2.1 rebounds per game while shooting 39.8% from three across 14 appearances.
Korkmaz, known for his sharpshooting, is a seven-year NBA veteran who spent his entire time in the league with the Philadelphia 76ers, appearing in 328 games.
