New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson is facing serious allegations off the court. According to the Daily Mail, a woman who identifies herself as Williamson’s former girlfriend has accused him of rape and physical abuse.

She further alleges a sustained pattern of abusive, controlling, and threatening behavior throughout their relationship.
The plaintiff also claims that Williamson’s abuse was sexual, physical, emotional, and financial in nature. She also states that on multiple occasions, he would choke or smother her, causing her to reasonably fear for her life.
Additionally, Williamson is accused of threatening not only her life but also the lives of her family members.
This is not the first time Williamson has faced controversy involving his personal relationships. A few years ago, a porn star publicly accused him of cheating by sleeping with other women behind her back, which garnered widespread media attention.
