Teague expressed a surprising preference for the Los Angeles Clippers' pairing of James Harden and Kawhi Leonard, stating he would take them over the Lakers’ duo in a playoff setting.
"I like that duo (Harden and Kawhi) beating Bron and Luka. Bron's 50! Kawhi can guard Luka. James and Luka cancel each other out. Obviously, Luka is better because he's younger and can do more. They can get you similar stats… Playoff Kawhi vs. 40-year-old LeBron? I'm rolling with Kawhi," Teague said.
While such a matchup is purely hypothetical for now, it remains a possibility in the Western Conference Finals. The third-seeded Lakers will open their playoff campaign against the Minnesota Timberwolves, while the fifth-seeded Clippers are set to face the defending champion Denver Nuggets in the first round.
