According to Sole Retriever, Young and adidas will end their deal after the release of the Trae Young 4 sneakers.
The 4th edition of the Atlanta Hawks star guard's signature shoes was set to be released in September 2024, but no announcement has been made by adidas about it.
So far, the release date has been reportedly pushed to the holiday season of 2024, with six new colorways set to be released in Spring 2025.
It is speculated that Young may continue wearing adidas shoes in-game until he reaches a new deal either with other major brand or a smaller manufacturer.
