Kevarrius Hayes auctions off his jersey to help earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.

Former Bursa and current Zalgiris center Kevarrius Hayes wants to contribute to the relief efforts for the victims of the massive earthquakes that hit Turkey and Syria in February, with an auction of his jersey, also signed by his teammates.

The auction is active until Monday 10:00 (EET), with all the money raised being donated to the earthquake relief fund.

Hayes, 25, represented Frutti Extra Bursaspor last season and made a miraculous run in the EuroCup, where the Turkish team entered the finals but lost to Virtus Bologna.

Led by Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul guard Melih Mahmutoglu, several notable names in European basketball have auctioned off their jerseys. Luigi Datome, Shane Larkin, Jan Vesely, and Bogdan Bogdanovic, among others, joined the much-needed initiatives.

Larkin also encouraged to donate to Shane Larkin Foundation, as all donations will be distributed to the official earthquake relief initiatives.
