With DeShaun Thomas heading to Armani Exchange Milan, Virtus Bologna is now shifting their attention towards former Boston Celtics forward Semi Ojeleye, a source told BasketNews.

Ojeleye has already been linked to other European clubs in the past few weeks, including EuroLeague reigning champs Anadolu Efes.
Ojeleye spent the past NBA season between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers waived him in March after averaging 4.1 points per game.
The American forward, whose parents are from Nigeria, was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the 2017 NBA Draft with the 37th pick.
With his defensive ability and the capacity to stretch the floor, Ojeleye could be an intriguing addition for Virtus Bologna. The Italian side is looking for a player who could fit the 3-4 role.
Virtus decided not to extend Ekpe Udoh and JaKarr Sampson, while they're also negotiating the departure of Kevin Hervey, who struggled to maintain the qualities shown in the first part of the past season after the knee injury that he suffered in December.
